The province sets average growth goal of 9 - 10%/year in the period of 2021-2030, reads the master plan.
Non-agricultural sectors will make up around 90% of the local economy by 2020 and 92% by 2025.
Export turnover is expected to growth 16% on average per year between 2016 and 2020 and 17% per year in the 2021-2025 period.
By 2030, Quang Nam is expected to become a developed province of Viet Nam with growth mainly driven by high-quality services and high-tech agriculture.
To achieve the above goals, Quang Nam will focus on infrastructure development, including construction of airport and seaports.
More preferential policies will be adopted to further develop the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone as a key driving force for the local socio-economic development.
As tourism remains as a spearhead sector of the local economy, Quang Nam will pour more investment capital to turn the locality into one of the major tourist hubs of the country.
The province expects to lure around eight million turns of tourists by 2020, of which foreign arrivals account for 50%./.
