VN, Kazakhstan enhance defense cooperation

At the reception, Deputy Defence Minister Mukhtarov briefed the host on outcomes of the talks between his delegation and the Vietnamese counterpart led by Deputy Defence Minister Sen. Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Chi Vinh.

He said he wishes in the future, the two defence ministries will have more practical cooperation activities, especially in the fields of training, defence industry, United Nations peacekeeping, that suit to each side’s demand and ability.

For his part, Defence Minister Gen. Ngo Xuan Lich welcomed the current Viet Nam visit by Deputy Defence Minister Mukhtarov and the defence ministry delegation of Kazakhstan, saying that it contributes to strengthening understanding between the two armies and people of the two countries.
