The State President made that statement at his reception for out-going Thai Ambassador to Viet Nam Manopchai Vongphak on April 4 in Ha Noi.

He highlighted that Thailand is the largest trade partner of Viet Nam among the ASEAN nations, with the two-way trade value of US$15 billion in 2017.

He expressed thanks to the Thai King, Royal Family and Government for creating conditions for the Vietnamese people to stabilize their lives in Thailand and developing cultural and historic relic sites related to Viet Nam.

He pledged that in any capacity, he will do his utmost to foster the Viet Nam-Thailand Strategic Partnership.
