Vietjet named in Top 100 VN Best Places to Work

VGP - The low-cost carrier Vietjet has been named one of the 100 best working places in Viet Nam in 2017, for the fourth consecutive year, according to a survey by Anphabe, a career networking platform and market research firm Intage Viet Nam.

Vietjet jumped two places to 70th position on the overall rankings and stood in the second position for the tourism-airline category.

The survey was based on a number of criteria, including salary, bonuses, welfare, professional development, culture and values, leadership, work-life balance, and company reputation.

The airline is also honored in the Top 50 interesting companies in Viet Nam for having attractive recruitment activities in 2017.

After more than six years of operation, Vietjet has attracted high-quality staff from more than 40 countries and territories around the world.

They have been contributing positively to make air travel become a popular means of transport among passengers not only in Viet Nam but also in regional markets.

According to the survey, the generation gap will present many challenges for businesses. For example, 41% of Gen Y employees feel “unhappy”, with a happy employee being defined by Anphabe as someone who has both emotional and rational engagement with the business and so will willingly expend effort on helping the business be successful.

Currently, the airline boasts a fleet of 55 aircraft, including A320s and A321s, and operates 385 flights each day. It has already transported more than 55 million passengers on a network featuring 82 routes in Viet Nam and across the region to international destinations such as Thailand, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar and Cambodia.
