More than 400 objects and documents affirming Viet Nam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagoes are being displayed in Trieu Son district in the north central province of Thanh Hoa, together with sets of atlas proving Viet Nam’s sovereignty over the two archipelagos.

The exhibits are in Nom (Vietnamese ideographic script), Vietnamese and French languages issued by Vietnamese feudal states, the French Government in Indochina (on behalf of the then Vietnamese state), and western countries from the 17th to 20th century.

They affirm Viet Nam’s establishment, exercise and protection of its sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes.

The three-day exhibition also introduces photos and documents on socio-economic and cultural development in Tinh Gia district and Nghi Son economic zone, and Thanh Hoa province in marine economic development, contributing to protecting Viet Nam’s sea and islands.
