VN welcomes investment in recycling wastes into gas

Question (Mr. Kenneth Holm, email: Kenneth_k_holm@yahoo.com): What are Việt Nam’s regulations on investing in treating and recycling wastes into gas?

Answer (Ministry of Planning and Investment): Investments in treating and recycling wastes into gas are encouraged as stated in Appendix I (Section III. 16) attached to Decree 108/2006/NĐ-CP dated on September 22, 2006 stipulating in details and instructing the implementation of the Law on Investment. Those investments are granted with some tax incentives.

The Decree also regulates investment formalities, files of investment projects, and the competent agencies in charge of these documents.
