PM begins Kiwi tour

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc arrived at Auckland international airport, starting his first overseas tour to New Zealand from March 12.

The PM was accompanied by his spouse, and a Vietnamese high-ranking delegation.

The PM and the delegation were welcomed by Member of Parliament in the House of Representatives for the Labor Party Deborah Russel, New Zealander Ambassador to Viet Nam Wendy Matthews, and Vietnamese Ambassador to Viet Nam Nguyen Viet Dung.   

As scheduled, PM Phuc will hold talks with his New Zealander counterpart Jacinda Andern; witness the signing ceremony of important documents; and meet with New Zealander Speaker of the Parliament Trevor Mallard. 

The same day, PM Phuc will meet with Governor Auckland Phil Goff and the overseas Vietnamese community in New Zealand.

The Government chief will partake in the Viet Nam-New Zealand business forum and receive Kiwi CEOs./.
