DPM receives WEF’s official

Deputy PM Hue made the commitment on March 7 in Ha Noi while receiving Mr. Justin Wood, head of the Asia-Pacific region of the WEF. 

Mr. Justin Wood highlighted that the presence of the Vietnamese delegation at the WEF Annual Meeting and the speeches of Deputy PM Hue on global free trade and ASEAN connection contributed to the success of the event. 

For his part, Deputy PM Hue praised the WEF for its successful organization of WEF Davos 2018 this January and took the occasion to thank the organization for its warm welcome for the Vietnamese delegation. 

The host leader said that the WEF ASEAN in Ha Noi is one of the most important diplomatic events in the country in 2018. 

The Vietnamese Government, said Mr. Hue, extremely attaches importance to the event and directs relevant ministries to work with WEF for the organization. Viet Nam welcomes WEF for early dispatching a working group to study the preparation. 

Deputy PM Hue hoped that WEF ASEAN 2018 would help popularize Vietnamese image and offer opportunities for foreign partners to land investment in the country./.
