Tra fish export tops $1.75 billion

The fish output and export turnover have strongly increased because of advantageous consumption from the Chinese market.

Viet Nam’s tra fish exports to the United States have 
remained stable after it imposed a demand that exporting countries' food safety control system must be equivalent to that of the U.S.

Tra price now approximates VND28,000 a kilogram in the Mekong Delta, the highest level this year and the record high for the last ten years.

Large farming provinces are Dong Thap with 1,200 hectares, Ben Tre 753 hectares and An Giang 589 hectares.

Specifically, new farming area is 3,299 hectares, up 14% while harvest area reaches 3,415 hectares, up 7%.
