Quy Nhon ranked among top 10 winter sun destinations for 2018

VGP - The coastal city of Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh Province) which is famous for seafood and stunning views has been named among the top 10 winter sun destinations for 2018, according to the UK newspaper The Guardian.

Located in the southeast of Binh Dinh Province, Quy Nhon City endowed with scenery of mountain, plain and sea offers visitors plenty of fascinating landscapes such as Eo Gio, Ghenh Rang (Rang R apids), Hoang Hau Beach (Queen Beach), Yen Island (Salangane Island), Phuong Mai Peninsula, Thi Nai Lagoon… Due to tropical monsoon climate, Quy Nhon also has lush forest ecosystem largely located in Cu Mong Pass.

Along with charming natural scenery, Quy Nhon attracts visitors with cultural and historical relics such as Twin Tower, Long Khanh Pagoda, Long Son Pagoda, Quy Nhon Cathedral…

In 2015, the UK travel publisher Rough Guides also listed Quy Nhon as one of the top nine authentic escapes in Southeast Asia, a destination off the beaten track.

In addition, the list suggests Rincón de Guayabitos in Mexico, Hiriketiya Bay in Sri Lanka, Keurboomstrand in South Africa, Rosario Islands in Colombia, Grande-Anse beach in Guadeloupe which is a region of France, Kirra in Australia’s Gold Coast, Bang Saen in Thailand, Tanjung Rhu in Malaysia and Velas in India.
