Gender quality in ethnic minority groups gets a boost

The project will be implemented at communes and districts where ethnic minority groups are living. 

It aims to alter gender equality and raise female status in the ethnic minority groups; thus contributing to successfully realizing the goals stipulated in the National Strategy on Gender Equality.

It targets to educate 100% of staff members on ethnic group tasks; 50% of staff members at district and commune levels; village patriarchs, heads of mountain villages on the regulations on gender equality and enforcement of policies and laws on gender equality.

In addition, 80% of ethnic minority households will access information on sexes and gender equality./.
