They agreed to improve the effectiveness of the Vietnamese–Slovakian intergovernmental committee on economic cooperation and facilitate their businesses' cooperation, particularly in their advantageous areas.

The two leaders consented to promote cooperation in national defense-security, culture, tourism, education-training and science-technology.

Mr. Hue thanked the Slovak State and people for creating favorable conditions for Overseas Vietnamese to stabilize their lives in Slovakia, expecting that Overseas Vietnamese will uphold their bridging role in developing the two nations’ relations.
