Plan on oil leak settlement passed

The plan aims to build and perfect the legal system on supervision, assessment of risks, settlement of oil and poisonous chemical leak incidents; beef up international cooperation to supervise, assess risks; surmount and handle oil and poisonous chemical leak incidents.

PM Phuc assigned the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to take the prime responsibility for supervising, surmounting, and handling handle oil and poisonous chemical leak incidents; build a supervisory regulation at sea and compose a dossier on compensation for oil and poisonous chemical leak incidents.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade was asked to build and issue a supervisory process of oil and poisonous chemical leak incidents.  

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development was asked to build supporting mechanisms to compensate and surmountrisks, settlement of oil and poisonous chemical leak incidents on agricultural and fishery areas./.
