At the working meeting, Deputy PM Binh praised the contribution of the Commission to the Government Inspectorate of Viet Nam in deploying a pilot project on corruption assessment and prevention in Viet Nam using the RoK’s experience. Mr. Binh stressed that the fight against corruption is one of key tasks of Viet Nam with a view to building an upright, constructive, and serving Government for people and businesses.
Accordingly, the Deputy PM suggested the Commission continue to support the Government Inspectorate of Viet Nam to perfect a code of instruments which will evaluate anti-corruption cases at provincial level; and build another code for agencies under ministries, Government agencies, public units, and SOEs businesses.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Inspector of the Government Bui Ngoc Lam briefed the positive outcomes of Viet Nam in the fight against corruption.
In reply, Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) Chairperson Pak Un Jong expressed her hope that the two sides would continue to cooperate in specific areas including policy and experience sharing, investigation, research, and workshop organization./.
