The Russian PM invited Vietnamese enterprises to participate in the Ekaterinburg international exhibition 2018.
PM Medvedev took the occasion to invite the Vietnamese PM to pay an official visit to Russia and PM Phuc gladly accepted.

They consented to maintain regular visits and high-ranking exchanges and bilateral cooperative mechanisms, enhance trade exchanges and join hands in such areas as drug and crime prevention and maritime cooperation.
The Vietnamese leader suggested the two sides actively realize current agreements, including a rice trading agreement.
The Vietnamese PM proposed the Philippine President direct the Philippine functional agencies ensure safety for Vietnamese fishermen and address issues related to Vietnamese fishermen.
