VN Aquaculture Expo & Forum opens

The event is co-hosted by the Directorate of Fisheries, the Viet Nam Fisheries Society, the municipal branch of the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the UMB Corporation, with nearly 4,000 guests taking part.

On display are farming equipment, fisheries feed and manufacturing equipment, processing and packaging lines, among others. 

In addition, issues regarding varieties quality, epidemic diseases, aquaculture technology, processing and export, markets, services and sustainable development will be discussed. 

Several international conferences on aquaculture will also be held at the event for local and foreign experts and businesses to help them gain knowledge, share experience, introduce new products and advanced technology, and discuss matters of concern to the industry.

The three-day event has attracted the participation  of over 70 domestic and foreign fisheries firms.
