This is a part of the project FSP to assist Việt Nam’s international economic integration granted with €1.64 million by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The project was started in September 2003 with a view of helping Việt Nam improve the ability of policy-makers in State and private economic sectors as well as their competitive edge.

According to the signed document, the FCC will fund the VCC and the Việt Nam Competition Management Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) in training lecturers in order to raise the quality of economic analysis in decisions on competition, complete the legal framework with regulations on management and punishments against unhealthy competition practices, organize training courses to improve the awareness of competition among management bodies, businesses and consumers.
