Speaking at the event, Deputy Chairman of the CII Deep Kapuria said that the two nations’ investment are lower than expectation and potentials, expecting that Vinh Phuc Province will facilitate Indian businesses to invest in the locality.

Vietnamese Ambassador to India Ton Sinh Thanh highlighted the two nations’ bilateral relationship in 2017, which marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties.

He hoped that the conference will bring real benefits for both, contributing to strengthening the Strategic Partnership between the two sides.

As of September this year, as many as 253 foreign-invested projects from 16 nations and territories were launched in the province, worth US$3.8 billion.

Indian investors have poured US$8 million in three projects in Vinh Phuc Province.

The province has encouraged businesses from India to pour more investment in automobile production, electronics, software and pharmacy.
