First foreign joint venture distributes fuels in HN

Idemisu Q8, a joint venture between Japan’s Idemitsu Kosan and Petroleum International Ltd from Kuwait, was established in Viet Nam once year ago. 

After the first station in Ha Noi, the joint venture planned to expand business in southern provinces.

Idemisu Q8 was equipped with an automatic software management system which permits card transactions and brings about convenient benefits for its customers.

Mr.  Hiroaki Honjo, the General Director of Idemitsu Q8 said the joint venture will strive for a top distributor in Viet Nam.

Idemitsui Kosan and Kuwait Petroleum International hold a 35.1% stake in the oil refinery project in Nghi Son Economic Zone in the north-central province of Thanh Hoa./.
