Party Central Committee convenes sixth plenary meeting

At the meeting, the delegates will discuss and give comments on socio-economic and budget performances in 2017, envisage socio-economic development and budget plan in 2018.

The delegates will also discuss on healthcare, and population issue in the new situation. 

Other issues to be debated at the meeting include the organizational renovation, improvement of quality and effectiveness of public non-business units and other crucial matters. 

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong highlighted the significance of the aforesaid issues as they directly affect the lives of people, State officials and workers nationwide and attract huge public concerns.  

He asked the delegates to uphold their responsibility and give comments on the documents brought to discussions during the meeting which will last until October 11./.
