Cuba extends sympathy over storm, flood in VN’s central region

VGP - First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba’s Central Committee and President of the Council of Ministers Raul Castro Ruz sent a message of sympathy to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, State President Tran Dai Quang, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc and families of the disaster’s victims over heavy losses triggered by the recent storm and flood in the central region.

In late September this year, Doksuri, caused over 10 people dead and missing and more than 200 injured, along with a total property loss of VND11 trillion (US$484 million) to the central provinces of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Tri, and Thua Thien – Hue.
