Highlighting the increasingly greater role VFF has played in engaging people in socio-economic development, the fight against corruption, the practice of thrift and the movements it has started such as the 'Whole People Join Hands for a Better Life’ and ‘Day for the Poor’, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng agreed that the Government and the VFF should deepen their collaboration. He urged that the Front should do more to care for over 3 million overseas Vietnamese and run more effective programs under the movement ‘Day for the Poor’ to build housing for the poor, provide vocational training for them and help them in a job. The VFF should also work closer with the Government to build, educate and put laws in effect as well as with different bodies to promote people’s mastership.
