Gov’t expects to raise aquatic exports to US$8-9 billion

VGP – The Vietnamese Government expects to raise aquatic export value to US$8-9 billion by 2020, according to a program approved by PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

The overall goal of the program is to ensure sustainable development of the aquaculture sector until 2020.

To realize the aforesaid goal, the Government planned to gradually modernize production of aquatic seeds and expand good agricultural practices.

It will also focus on controlling the quality of feeds for aquaculture and the quality of processed aquatic products./.
