Int’l Dance Festival 2017 to be held in Ninh Binh

The festival aims to promote cooperation in arts and culture between Viet Nam and other nations in the world and elevate the image of the land and people of Viet Nam to international friends.

Besides, managers and Vietnamese artists should assess the real situation of domestic dance arts at present.

Organizers said the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will present gold and silver medals to outstanding art items selected by the Arts Council.

Some 25 artistic troupes, including 16 foreign ones, have registered to join the festival.

The 7-day event is co-organized by the Department of Performing Arts under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Department of International Cooperation, Viet Nam Dance Artists Association, Ninh Binh provincial Department of Culture and Sports and relevant agencies.
