Vietnamese leaders, people and armed forces keep in mind President Fidel Castro’s saying “For Vietnam, we are ready to shed our blood,” showing the great support of the Cuban Party, State, people and armed forces for the Vietnamese people at the most difficult time of the Vietnamese liberation war, he said.

In turn, Gen. Miera lauded the Vietnamese delegation’s visit, describing it as an evidence of the loyal friendship between the two armies.
