Gov’t considers institutional improvements top priority

Since taking office, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc committed to building a Government of integrity and action to serve people and businesses.

Over the past time, ministries and agencies have endeavored to review and propose amendments to institutions, especially economic regulations in a bid to gradually improve the national business environment and competiveness.

However, some ministries, agencies and localities failed to catch up with the Prime Minister’s innovative spirit as they have not paid great attention to this task while capacity of legal building remains limited.

Draft Law on special administrative-economic units agreed

The Government unanimously agreed on the contents of the Law on special administrative-economic units, which is designed to create legal foundation for construction of special economic zones, the Resolution says.

The Law will be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval./.
