Best FDI enterprises to be honored

VGP - The Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises (AFIE) has just launched a rating program named "Vietnam Golden FDI" for foreign-invested enterprises and Vietnamese enterprises doing business abroad.

FDI sector becomes an integral part of the national economy

This is the first time the Association organizes the event and around best 100 local and foreign funded enterprises will be awarded, said Mr. Mai Thanh Hải, Chairman of AFIE, saying that the event will be organized every two years.

Vietnam Golden FDI 2009 rating is based on such criteria like growth rate, export value, technology development, labor relationship, environmental friendliness, community development, and human resource development.

Other prizes will be granted to FDI enterprises with good profiles on environment protection and business culture development.

Vietnamese or foreign individuals will be also honored for their great contributions to the sustainable development of Việt Nam's FDI sector.

The objective of the event is to acknowledge achievements made by FDI enterprises in Việt Nam's prioritized fields of information technology, telecommunication, finance, auxiliary industry, or other industries consuming domestic raw materials.

The rewarding ceremony will be held in August in Hà Nội.
