“Viet Nam welcomes the judgment of the International Court of Monsanto, which is considered as an objective fact about the severe consequences caused by the war in Viet Nam, especially the Agent Orange used by the U.S. army in the war.
Viet Nam suggested Monsanto Company consulting the recommendations of the International Court and soon launch realistic activities to address the issue,” she said.
Regarding Doan Thi Huong, who was a suspect in the death of a Korean man in Malaysia, Ms. Hang affirmed that Viet Nam’s viewpoint is that Doan Thi Huong must be judged equally and objectively based on Malaysia’s regulations and international laws with her legitimate rights ensured.
On the investigation of a Vietnamese girl murdered in Japan, the Spokeswoman said that:
“According to the latest information, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan has joined Japanese functional agencies to actively investigate behaviors related to the suspect who murdered the Vietnamese girl.
The Vietnamese Embassy is keeping close contact with Japanese functional agencies to follow the case”.
