According to Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Đỗ Hữu Hào, Việt Nam owns great potential for wind power development with an estimated output of 1,785 MW.

To date, 15 wind power projects with the total capacity of 1,054 MW have been registered.

The implementation of the Germany-funded project will comprehensively accelerate the wind power development in Việt Nam.
