Premier Li: China vows to fully implement common perceptions, agreements

VGP – The Government of China attaches great importance to developing relations with Viet Nam on the principles of mutual respect, equality and win-win cooperation, said Premier Li Keqiang.

Chinese Premier Li made the statement while meeting with Vietnamese Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in Beijing on January 13.

He expressed his belief that the Party leader’s on-going visit would help boost the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries in an effective and pragmatic manner in the time to come.

The two leaders showed their pleasures at the healthy and stable developments in the two countries’ relations, including positive progresses in economy, trade, investment, and tourism.

Both sides stressed the necessity to enhance and improve the effectiveness of win-win collaboration and reinforce mutual trust and friendship between the two peoples.

The two sides agreed to strengthen strategic connectivity, actively promote projects within the framework of “Two Corridors, One Economic Belt” and “One Belt, One Road” initiatives; effectively implement the Memorandum of Understanding on the list of joint projects between the Vietnamese Ministry of Trade and Industry and Chinese National Commission for Development and Reform.

Viet Nam welcomed Chinese projects using advanced and environmentally-friendly technologies, particularly those operating in the fields of agriculture, high technology, machinery manufacturing, support industry, renewable and clean energy, technology transfer, and high-quality human resources training, said Party leader Trong.

Meanwhile, Chinese Premier Li affirmed that his Government will work closely with the Vietnamese counterpart to direct inferior levels to fully implement the common perceptions and agreements reached by the two countries to bring practical benefits to the two peoples for the healthy and stable development of the bilateral relations.

The two countries also vowed to support enhancement of ASEAN connectivity and promotion of the bloc’s central role in East Asia as well as cooperative ties between China and ASEAN in the future for peace, stability and prosperity in the region./.
