Party leader receives CPAFFC President

VGP – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong witnessed the presentation of a Friendship Medal, a noble reward of the Party and State of Viet Nam, to Ms. Li Xiaolin, the President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC).

On behalf of the State President, Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh awarded the Friendship Medal to President Li Xiaolin in recognition of her important contributions to the friendly and cooperative ties between Viet Nam and China.

Mr. Trong had a meeting with the CPAFFC delegation which was participated by Ms. Li Xiaolin, experts, scholars, and war veterans who made important contributions to the Viet Nam-China friendly relations.

Mr. Trong hailed the diversified and positive activities of the Association in the two countries and hoped that it would work with Viet Nam to cement and deepen the friendship among the younger generations and nurture the bilateral ties.

For her part, President Li Xiaolin expressed her pleasure to receive the Friendship Medal and pledged to do her utmost to nurture the bilateral ties./.
