VN ready for APEC Year 2017, Deputy PM says

VGP – Viet Nam is now ready for the APEC Year 2017, affirmed Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh while attending the 28th APEC Ministerial Meeting in Lima, Peru on November 18.

During the APEC Year 2017, Viet Nam will host some 200 events, including eight ministerial-level meetings. The 2017 APEC Economic Leaders’ Week is scheduled to take place in the central city of Da Nang.

Participants to the 28^th APEC Ministerial Meeting spoke highly of Viet Nam’s preparations for the APEC Year, according to the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The same day, Deputy PM, FM Minh also met with the US Secretary of State and Papua New Guinea FM./.
