The other cases are being quarantined and treated in healthcare centers, showing no serious complications.

There were 35 new cases tested positive for the virus yesterday alone, most of them are in the southern provinces.

The swine flu A/H1N1 has begun to spread in the community, which would make it more difficult for Việt Nam to control the infectious disease.

Southern localities like Khánh Hòa, Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu, Lâm Đồng, Bình Dương, Đồng Tháp, Đồng Nai, Bình Phước, Tây Ninh and Long An have reported positive cases.

To cope with the situations, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng on Saturday sent a note requiring competent ministries, agencies and local governments to take urgent measures to put the disease into the control.
