Import tax reduced for avgas

VGP – The Ministry of Finance just issued a circular to readjust the preferential import tax rate imposed on some categories of gasoline and oil.

Since July 26 on, the new tax rate of aviation turbine fuels with the flash point from 23⁰C or higher and below 23⁰ C is 20%.

The tax rate is cut down by 5% compared with Circular 133/2009/TT-BTC dated on June 30, 2009 by the Ministry of Finance.

The move is believed to help release the burden of costs for domestic airlines.
