Deputy PM requests enhancing preparations for APEC 2017

VGP – Deputy PM Pham Binh Minh asked for quickening sound preparations for the APEC Year in 2017 and enhancing interdisciplinary coordination and the cooperation between the host nation and the APEC Secretariat at the fourth plenary meeting of the National Committee for APEC 2017 on April 13.

The Deputy PM praised the preparations in terms of contents, communications, culture, diplomatic formalities, logistics, security and health care service.

He required relevant ministries, agencies and localities to complete set topics, priorities, initiatives and activities of the APEC 2017 as the first activity of the APEC 2017 will take place in the next eight months.

Ministries, agencies and localities need to launch preparation works for infrastructure, logistics, protocol, security, health care and communication as planned and soon organize art and cultural activities for the APEC 2017.

The fifth plenary meeting of the National Committee for APEC 2017 will be held in June.
