The children were introduced with concepts and issues relating to climate change, causes and impacts on environment and people’s life; climate change in Việt Nam; and impacts of climate change on children.

They also joined group dialogues on signs of climate changes in their residential areas, actions leading to climate change, solutions to mitigate impacts, and how to write short messages on climate change.

The worsening climate change is causing negative impacts on children and adolescents as well as on the Millennium Development Goals relating to children, especially in terms of health, education and gender equality.

It is now necessary to encourage children and young people to join hands in working out solutions for environment protection and coping with climate change.
