The Party chief made the request today in Ha Noi at the opening session of the 14th Party Central Committee meeting.

According to Mr. Trong, the analysis must point out both general and specific impacts on politics, national security, opportunities, challenges as well as whether the legal system and policies need to be adjusted.

After five years of negotiations, Viet Nam and 11 other Asian-Pacific countries on October 5, 2015 finalized negotiations on the TPP which is a new-generation FTA with higher requirements and scope of regulations including labor-union, environment, SOEs, and intellectual protection.

The TPP draws much attention and gains huge expectations from business communities and labourers.

At the 13th Party Central Committee meeting, held in December, 2015, the Partt Delegation to the Government made a report on the outcomes of the TPP negotiations.

The Political Bureau will submit the signing of the TPP agreement to the Party Central Committee for consideration and deciding. /.
