Pre-school and pedagogic education plays great role in national education
VNGOVNet – Vietnam’s pre-school and pedagogic education sector has proceeded for 60 years on its path of construction and development, increasingly consolidating its position and importance in the national educational system.

That was affirmed by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Đặng Huỳnh Mai in the 60th anniversary of the sector’s foundation on December 12.
Over the past 60 years, the pedagogic sector has strived for the elimination of instant and short-term courses and developed the training systems standardized by the Government, meeting the growing demand for teachers and ensuring their qualifications in line with the requirements of educational reform.
At present, the whole country has built 122 new and refresher training establishments for teachers and educational managers, including 14 teachers training universities, 56 colleges, seven technical schools, and 30 universities and 13 colleges with the teachers training departments.
