Leaders extend condolences to Chile over deadly earthquake

VGP — State President Truong Tan Sang on Friday extended his condolences to Chilean President Michelle Bachelet Jeria over the great losses of life and property caused by the recent earthquake.

The same day, Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh also cabled a message of condolences to Chilean FM Heraldo Muñoz Valenzuela.

The powerful earthquake that struck the coastal cities in North-Central Chile on September 19, leaving at least 11 people dead, injuring nine others and destroying more than 500 houses, according to the country’s National Emergency Office./.
