Amway VN opens US$25 million facility in Binh Duong

Covering 54,675 square metres, the plant is equipped with modern facilities meeting international standards.

The factory has three production lines with an estimated total capacity of producing 23 million products per year, creating 170 good paying full time jobs.

The new facility is part of Amway’s US$375 million global aggressive manufacturing expansion as it seeks to bring more manufacturing in house for better quality control rather than rely on outside contractors.

Technical experts from the corporation will oversee manufacturing activities in order to ensure the identical quality of the Amway brand’s products around the world.

With the second modern factory established in Binh Duong, Amway Viet Nam can meet the increasing demand of domestic consumers as well as significantly contribute to promoting the exports to neighbouring markets.

The new plant will also help Amway Viet Nam improve its position under the Amway Corporation, towards becoming a leading producer and supplier for Amway branches in Southeast Asia.

The company’s other factory is located at Dong Nai province.

Both facilities are near Ho Chi Minh City, the base for the company’s Viet Nam operations, where Amway has been conducting business since 2009.
