A negotiation team founded for restoring Highway 1

VNGP – Considering the proposal of the State Bank of Vietnam on negotiating the Additional Fund Agreement for the project "Restoring Highway 1, stage 3" with loans from the World Bank (WB), the PM has just agreed to establish a negotiation team headed by Mr. Đặng Anh Mai, Deputy Head of the Department for International Cooperation, State Bank of Vietnam.

Other members of the team include representatives from the Government Office, ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, Transport, Foreign Affairs, Justice and State Bank of Vietnam.

The PM assigned the Ministry of Transport to make decision approving the report on environmental impacts as required by WB before negotiating for the agreement. The State Bank of Vietnam, as Vietnam's major implementer, will collaborate with the relevant agencies in preparing necessary conditions for the negotiations and making reports to the Government on the results.
