Condolences over plane crash in Indonesia

VGP – State President Truong Tan Sang and PM Nguyen Tan Dung on July 1 cabled their condolences to Indonesian President Joko Widodo over the C-130B Hercules plane crash in Medan, northern Sumatra province.

The same day, Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh extended his condolences to Indonesian FM Retno Marsudi.

The accident happened on June 30, killing at least 141 people.

North Sumatra chief police Gen Sutedjo Eko Hadi said as of July 1 afternoon, among the 141 bodies found at the site, 135 have been brought to Adam Malik and Pirnagdi hospitals in Meda and 34 have been identified.
