Many cities and provinces with large-scale industrial production still maintained a high growth rate compared to the same period last year. The provinces growing faster than the country’s average include Vĩnh Phúc (30.9%), Hà Tây (25.4%), Bình Dương (24.4%), Hải Dương (23.6%), Đồng Nai (20.2%), Hải Phòng City (18.2%) and Phú Thọ (16.6%).

In July merely, the industrial production value was estimated to go up by 16.1% compared to the same period last year, in which the State-run sector grew by 6.7%, the non-State sector 22.1% and the foreign-invested sector 16.9%.

However, these figures were lower than the previous month due to the price of input materials and fuels continued to rise high.
