Da Nang welcomes five million visitors in 2014

VGP – Da Nang International Airport on December 30 received the five millionth guest in 2014.

The meaningful event marked the airport's great efforts in its development process.

Da Nang International Airport, the third largest in Viet Nam, has come into operation since December 25, 2011.

In 2014, the airport received 5 million passengers, up 16% compared to the previous year. Of whom, nearly 900,000 are foreign visitors, up 53%.

The airport has planned to expand its terminal to be able to serve 10 million passengers per year.
