PM gives green light to BIDV’s IPO

VNGOP – Under Document 230/TB-VPCP dated on November 12, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng accepted December 31, 2007 as the deadline for the Bank for Investment and Development of Việt Nam (BIDV) to calculate its value for equitization.

The BIDV was urged to promptly carry out its equitzation and initial public offering (IPO) within the second quarter of 2008.

The PM assigned the Bank to prepare necessary conditions for the establishment and operation of the Việt Nam Banking and Financial Group in parallel to the BIDV’s equitization.
