Party chief meets with Ha Noi voters ahead of Legislature’ session

VGP - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on May 3 met with voters of Ba Dinh and Hoan Kiem districts in Ha Noi to listen to their proposals in preparation for the upcoming National Assembly’s 7th session.

The voters raised their concerns over anti-corruption and anti-wastefulness and hailed the recent adoption of the Resolution on basic and comprehensive renovation of education and training by the Party Central Committee. 

The Party leader welcomed voters’ contributions to economic, political and social issues. 

He also acquired their opinions and proposals which will be reviewed and dealt with by local deputies and presented at the National Assembly.

Party leader Trong stressed that the National Assembly has made progress in renovating its activities to affirm its role as the highest representative body of the people.

He also noted many things need to be done by the Legislature to realize the 2013 Constitution.

The next session of the National Assembly is scheduled to take place from May 20 to June 24./.
