DPM receives New Zealand ambassador

Speaking at the meeting with the New Zealander ambassador to Viet Nam, Haike Manning, in Ha Noi on June 6, the Vietnamese Deputy PM urged the two sides to continue boosting bilateral relations in all fields.

Deputy PM Nhan said that the Vietnamese Government would create favorable conditions for enterprises from New Zealand to invest in Viet Nam and asked for closer co-operation between the two countries at regional and international forums.

He expressed his hope that New Zealand would support Viet Nam’s efforts in promoting Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) negotiations.

Ambassador Haike Manning stressed that during his term in Viet Nam, he would make the best efforts to develop the comprehensive partnership with Viet Nam, especially in fields of economy, trade, education and training, and labor.

He said that especially in education and training, he would create conditions for more Vietnamese students to come for study and research in his country which is currently home for around 2,000 Vietnamese students.
