VN condemns Nagasaki Mayor's murder

VNGOP – Vietnam strongly opposes the April 17 assassination of the Mayor of Nagasaki City (Japan), said Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lê Dũng on April 19, 2007.

"We are deeply moved at knowing that Nagasaki Mayor Itcho Ito was murdered and strongly condemn this act of inhumanity," said the Spokesman on April 19.

He also extends Vietnam's condolences to Mayor Itcho Ito's family and Japanese people.
