Escaping Vinalines ex-Chairman arrested

VGP – Former Chairman of the Viet Nam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines) and Head of the Viet Nam Maritime Administration Duong Chi Dung was captured after three-month escape from special hunting.

Duong Chi Dung is charged with "intentionally violating State regulations on economic management and causing serious consequences" in Vinalines.
The arrestee was charged, under Article 165 of the Criminal Code, with "intentionally violating State regulations on economic management and causing serious consequences" in Vinalines.

However, he had escaped before the investigation agency executed the arrest warrant and search in line with the law.

The investigation agency on May 18, 2012, working with the Interpol, issued a special search-warrant nationwide and worldwide against the former executive.
