Viet Nam-Laos special ties boosted

PM Nguyen Tan Dung said he wants Viet Nam and Laos to continue effectively agreements reached by top leaders of the two countries, especially in economic, trade and investment cooperation.

The Vietnamese PM also wanted the two sides to strengthen exchanges of information, coordination and mutual support at international and regional forums.

Lao DPM Somsavat Lengsavad confirmed that he will spare no efforts to reinforce and develop the Viet Nam-Laos special relations.

The DPM hoped the two sides prioritize bilateral economic cooperation; focus on progress, quality and effectiveness of cooperation projects; maintain visits at various levels; and boost people-to-people exchanges to enhance the friendship and mutual understanding between the two nations.

The Lao guest also expected Viet Nam to share its experience and models of socio-economic development.
